Madison Houck

Madison's first Yoga class in 2009 opened her eyes to all that was possible through this practice. After being a student for 7 years, she traveled to India to dive deeper into these traditions. In 2016, she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, then moved to Brooklyn to become a school teacher, using mindfulness and movement in her classroom. When it became a reality that Madison could make a living while being a private and group Yoga teacher full-time, she dove in head first. Since then, she has taught over 6000 Yoga classes and completed 700 hours of training (LYT Yoga, Pre/Postnatal, Restorative, Pilates, and more).

After 6 years of teaching full-time in NYC, Madison has honed her voice – clear, encouraging, thought-provoking; she has honed her style – anatomically-focused, creative, individualistic; and she has honed her why – so you can feel truly connected to your body and all of its wondrous abilities. Madison cannot wait to guide you through practice and foster community with Prema.
